Dr. Epstein Joins Advisory Board
All About Vision has appointed nationally recognized cataract and refractive surgeon Robert L. Epstein, MD, to its Editorial Advisory Board.
As one of the first surgeons in the United States to perform LASIK, Dr. Epstein brings a wealth of expertise to the task of ensuring that All About Vision educates consumers with accurate, comprehensive information.
Dr. Epstein is medical director and chief surgeon at Mercy Center for Corrective Eye Surgery in Chicago and has regularly performed LASIK, PRK, epi-LASIK, Crystalens implantation and other procedures. He helped develop multifocal LASIK and has been awarded several patents, including one for a device that increases the safety and accuracy of laser vision correction.
