All About Vision served more than 2.3 million unique visitors (measured weekly) in the first quarter of 2009, up about 20% from the same period in 2008.

During that period, three of the site’s top 100 articles more than doubled in page views. Blepharitis was up 105%, Cataract Surgery rose 100% and Eye Color increased 535%.

Google generated 67% of site visitors, which originated in 230 countries, although 84% of visits were from the U.S. and Canada.

A total of 10,823 websites sent traffic to All About Vision during this period, including Wikipedia, Gunnar Optiks, Facebook, iVillage and Slate.
